ADRA's Mission

The mission of the Adventist Development and Relief Agency Canada (ADRA Canada) is to demonstrate, with no strings attached and through humanitarian acts, the loving character of God to those in need, regardless of their gender or origin.  Christ's compassionate ministry is an example of God's love.  Without seeking thanks or reward, Christ served the poor, the weak, and the sick through acts of love - healing, educating, and touching lives by meeting basic needs.  The ADRA Network has a presence in over 100 countries - meeting needs, as Christ did, through community development programs and emergency response.

ADRA Ambassadors

ADRA Ambassadors in Seventh-day Adventist Churches like Apple Creek, make resources and information about ADRA Canada available.  Ambassadors also proactively seek opportunities to publicly share information about ADRA Canada.  ADRA Ambassodors encourage others to be involved in ADRA's ministry of compassion, help the church increase its support for ADRA Canada, and enable members to be more in tune with how ADRA Canada helps the church make a positive difference for those less fortunate in Canada and around the world.

Apple Creek's ADRA Ambassadors are: Mona Sinclair and Nneka Roberts.  Our team is supported by: Elder Enos Malcolm
