Ready or not Jesus will return !!
This statement encapsules the major message to our visitors on Community Guest Day.
In the Bible there are over 1800 references to the 2nd comng of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Of these, 318 or so references have been made in 23 of the 27 books of the New Testament alone.
3 things are expected of us;
1. Keep on believing
2. Prepare for the coming of Jesus
3.Receive His reward
Jesus wants you to be one of His chosen.

“Give Me Back Your Love”
When we first accepted Christ as Saviour, believed we were invincible. No evil could overcome us. We felt like we could take on the whole realm of darkness. But as time passes, we began to become acclimatized to the evils around us and the feeling of invincibility goes in hiding. Our love for God wanes and becomes more of a ritual.
However, Jesus in Revelation 2:1-7, in speaking to the church of Ephesus, reminds them of the importance of keeping their love active for Him. He does this by first, commending the believers for the good things they’ve been doing. He says to them, “I know the good work you are doing.” I see your involvement in speaking against evil” and “I know you are bearing hardships.” Second, He voiced the concern that they had lost their first love. Maybe because of persecution or distraction, they were not as enthusiastic as they used to be. Their relationship had fallen into a mere ritual.
However, Jesus instructed the believers in Ephesus to return to their first love. Give me back that love that motivated you when you first accepted me; that love which you felt if I were to return at that time you are sure you would be saved. Give me back that love that made you sacrificial, that made you self-less and that made you truly serving. Remember and repent (v.6), so that you can have access to the tree of life (v.7). In other words, you can live in paradise, in the earth made new with me.
Jesus is making the same appeal to us today. He is saying, for us to remain in the church and have our names retained in the lambs book of life, for us to eat from the tree of life, we must overcome taking our relationship with Him for granted.
Let us give back our first love to God!

Pastor Perrin's Sermon
|
 |
|
|
Youth Pastor K.Perrin under the influence of the Holy Spirit expounded on the sermon topic "Legion".
He utilized the Scripture reading from Luke 8:26-39. He detailed the accounts of Jesus asleep in the boat while a great storm threatened to engulf all in the boat, and the encounter of the demon possessed man who lived in a cemetery who was out of control of the ordinary people of that village.
Movies based on the occult and satanic themes are more popular now than before. He encouraged the church as well as the youth to stay far away from those movies. He emphasised that satan plays for keeps and can only offer death, pain and misery, while Jesus Christ is merciful to us, and offers eternal life, joy and peace to all who would simply accept his offer.
His presentation was compelling and everyone was so engaged that should a pin drop in the sanctuary it would be heard. He enquired rhetorically about the demons who may possess us, the demon of lying perhaps, what about pornography, illicit behaviour, withholding God's tithe and your offerings, a complaining and nagging spirit among a host of others.
This called for a serious self check and appeal to God the Father for his Mercy and Forgiveness as well as created the desire to have a daily experience with Christ, especially as we see the day of His return fast approaching.
