Dr. Daviceto Swaby - Lead Pastor

Dr. Daviceto Swaby

Lead Pastor

Dr Daviceto Swaby has been active for God since his childhood and has always known he was called by God to the Gospel Ministry. He started his formal ministry in the East Jamaica Conference in 1987 when he graduated from Northern Caribbean University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion. His ministry in the East Jamaica Conference was very successful and he pastored over thirty churches, winning hundreds of souls to the Kingdom of God. He immigrated to Canada in 2008 where he continued his work for God conducting several Evangelistic and Family Life Series in the provinces of Quebec, British Columbia and Ontario. Dr. Swaby was the Pastor of the Kingston and the Brockville Seventh-day Adventist Churches in Eastern Ontario, where his strong belief in community outreach led to the church's participation in the annual Kingston Fair and the inauguration of the Kingston Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Annual Family Fun Fair. He was a strong source of spiritual guidance and motivation to individuals within the Federal Correctional Institutions in the Greater Kingston and surrounding Areas. In addition to his Bachelor’s Degree, Pastor Swaby holds a Master’s Degree in Religion from Andrews University and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Georgia. He is also a trained Conflict Mediation Specialist. A lover of the Word of God, he holds Philippians 4:13 dear to his heart: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. He depends on God for his strength and vision, and seeks to glorify him in all he does. A Husband and Father, he has been married to Donna Swaby for 27 years. Together, they have an adult son, Oraine.

Robert Greaves - Associate Pastor

Robert Greaves

Associate Pastor

Pastor Robert knows concern for people is at the center of a meaningful life. Aware that at times we celebrate accomplishments, and at others face crisis, I love to see that you are finding a sense of peace and contentment. I take what was said by Jesus Christ who is the founder of the Christian movement to heart - “I came that you might have life, and have it more abundantly.” Every day, I challenge myself to live this truth, and to discover ways in which I can help others can embrace or investigate its reality. If you are opening the door towards a life of faith, if you are challenged by what that means in our changing culture, or if you are someone who has already been on that path, I invite you to drop in and spend some time with our church family at Apple Creek. You will find it is a safe, friendly, and welcoming place where you can take advantage of the many services we offer. A husband for twenty eight years, and a father of two daughters – family matters! Holding a B.A in Religion and pursuing a Masters in Theology, deepening our faith through study and devotion matters. Pastor Greaves and family would love to meet you. So stay well. I trust and hope that all is well. If that is the case and particularly if it is not, feel free to call or contact me at any-time. A listening ear - it’s all about you, and it’s all about discovering the difference an experience with Jesus can make!
